I had returned to the Grand Canyon with the same group from several months ago. I had a horrible time so when I saw I was back in the same situation, I said to myself, "I'm back again." Then I ran to the edge of the cliff and threw myself off. Midway down, I woke up and was able to return to the dream. This time, I threw myself off the cliff but turned into a hawk. I did barrel rolls and flew freely. I looked down one last time at the group leader and then flew off feeling free and light.
This dream may symbolize your feelings of being trapped or overwhelmed in a situation that you feel you cannot escape from. The recurring theme of returning to the Grand Canyon with the same group suggests a sense of repetition or being stuck in a cycle that is causing distress.
The act of throwing yourself off the cliff in the dream can represent a desire to escape or break free from this situation, as well as a need for change or release from burdensome circumstances. The transformation into a hawk halfway through the fall may symbolize a sense of liberation, freedom, and transformation.
Flying as a hawk could represent a newfound perspective, the ability to rise above challenges, and a sense of empowerment. Looking back at the group leader before flying off may signify the need to let go of past influences or authority figures that may have been holding you back. Overall, this dream may be urging you to find ways to break free from negative patterns and embrace a new sense of freedom and empowerment in your waking life.
